Bintan Getaway (Part 1)

Came back from a very relaxing getaway at bintan. stayed at the angsana resort and we tool lots of photos, note that you can actually click on the photos i posted to see a larger version. in fact the only thing we saw at bintan was the ferry ternal and the resort, wanted to nua so much that we didn't visit anywhere else in bintan. here's a view from the lobby to the alley leading to angsana spa at the far end.
Lengleng managed to get us a suite free... the room was fantastic, even came with a kitchenette fully equipped, most of our meals were settled here, the microwave oven was very helpful.
Pool view from out balcony at night, this photo was taken in quite dark conditions, shutter was open for 10s to get a photo like that. looking at the pool, we already wanted to jump in, but it was already late at night, so we had dinner (tabaoed from singapore and heated up using the microwave oven) and nua in the suite for the first night, played mahjong (mini version), regina lost and had to be our slave for the next day.
To start the second day, it was a sumptuous breakfast prepared by the appointed slave girl. fried luncheon meat and sausages with cup noodles, fruit juice, milk and cereal to go along too.. she prepared almost all meals for us and we can only say that she's very good, we all totally enjoyed all the meals there, we even finished all the food we brought there from singapore.

Outdoor activities will start, all geared up in our swimming attire and beachwear, all ready for the sun, all ready for a beautiful tan. the only problem was the clouds, hopefully they would clear up as the day passes. We switched from the pool to the beach a few times, played beach soccer and volleyball, tan by the pool when the sun finally came out, waiters came by now and then to serve us ice cold water by the pool. i think because it's quite costly to stay at angsana, there were not many people there, everyone get to enjoy the facilities and the pool without feeling too crowded.

So we decided to take some photos there, later the next day, we realised that this was all set up for a dinner on the rocks (some romantic customer must have requested for it) us110 per pax.

This one is another dinner set up, called dinner of the legend. this is set on on the beach itself, dinner for 2 costs us90 per person. when we were at the beach, they were setting up this thing, but we didn't wait for them to complete it so this photo was actually not the real thing, i took a photo of the poster.. haha...

I borrowed a 50mm prime lens from Ilona to take potrait shots for this trip, and the photos same out wonderfully, i'll post the potrait shots of regina leng and lawrence in part 2 ... to summarise, it was a wonderfully relaxing trip... it was sad that joey was too busy at work to join us.
