Lost Photos
Still cannot retrieve the files from the CF card... i can still view the photos if i insert the card in my camera, but the files are just not accessible from the comp. hai .. 
There're memories of my first trip to vivo city, dinner with mum and brother at pu tien (i thought i finally got nice photos of mum), and bowling practice at safra mount faber.... all lost... anyone out there who knows how i can salvage the photos??

see! i told you we can't hang around with kids too often...
you connecting camera->comp or cardreader->comp?
here's my suggested sequence...lol
1. usb cable got problem?
2. borrow a card reader to try? if cannot borrow another one?
3. download using another computer? if cannot, try another computer
if all else fails, try talking to the card. persuade it to cooperate lor..
tried all the methods stated. used 3 different card readers... and maybe i try to bring the card when i see you people, so that you all can help me parsuade it to coorperate
is there a locking mechanism on your CF card? my SD card got a lock one leh.. so go check urs out.. though i dun remember seeing any on my CF card
Did u try accessing from another computer?
There's no lock for CF cards .. and yes i have tried accessing it from 3 different computers... all give the same error
