Relaxing Monday Lunch

It's monday... decided to go try out the food at this jap restaurant called himawari at safra mount faber with meili libing and bingwei. since our lunch hours are quite flexible and stretchable, we decided to go for the a la carte buffet, click of the link above to see my views on the food at the restaurant
Bingwei felt that the food at hanabi restaurant was better, anyone else tried both? which one is better?

Actually i got interested to try this because the buffet includes shabu shabu which is seldom found in other jap buffet, in the end the shabu shabu was quite a dissappointment because it's just a steamboat pot of veges and a plate of uncooked chicken and beef slices.

Libing is leaving singapore again.. he travels in and out singapore so much that i cannot even remember where he's going to this time. but anyway... bon voyage.. he left quite early after lunch to go back office for a meeting before flying off on tuesday.

Only 3 of us left, we went to the cafe next door for coffee and tea after the heavy meal. meili seemed to be very engrossed in her phone (playing game) the whole day, i think it started because i was late when picking her up and she had to pass time by playing the game on her phone.

Bingwei took my camera and had some tries is using an SLR, the shots came out quite good (see the one he took of meili below), he instructed meili to look pensive, a new word that i learned that day.. so it's quite worth it getting a good camera right?
