MJC: Mid Year Exams

Just had the third mahjong challenge last sat at js' place. this time round it's called the mid year exams and the theme for the night is old school...And as the topic suggests, we all had to sit for our mid year exam, prepared by our organisers.. and i actually scored 75%!! haha ..not bad you know, cos there are people who fail.. or rather, there's 1 person who failed the paper. other than the exam paper.
Organisers have spent lots of effort on the prizes and presents too.. with door gifts, lucky draw and trophies.. this time round, even a crown for the new mahjong king!!

Food was prepared by everyone, a potluck party, and everyone happened to bring something carbo.. potatoes, puffs, sushi, cakes, bee hoon, rojak, oyster omelette etc etc.. definitely too much for us.Dress code: old school... but only these 3 person is dressed will enough to be nominated for best dress. marie in st margaret's, loretta in plmgs and our winner for best dress, xintian in chij primary. she can actually squeeze into her primary 2 uniform!!
After 2 hours of hectic mahjong games, switching tables, switching players.. we finally have the winner for the 3rd mahjong challenge. from 4th to 1st, we have terry, hongbing, xintian and ivan with the crown!! you might wanna see the winners for the 1st mjc here and the 2nd mjc here.The whole event is wonderful, everyone enjoyed themselves and everyone had gifts to bring home!! kudos to the wonderful organisers, ripple and js.. thanks for spending so much time and effort in the preparation, definitely looking forward to the next mjc!!
