NDP 2006

LB got some tickets for NDP and we decided to go for the parade, it's another chance for me to take more photos... haha.... Met up at Novena MRT quite late in the afternoon because jiehong gotta work (YES.. on national day) ... while waiting on the car, i took a pic of siying and the photo came out very nicely, i like the lighting very much.. where the background is very washed out ( is this the right term to use?) and the subject is clear and not too dark on the foreground.

Finally, we have reached our desinated car park and started to stroll to the national stadium, here's libing with our entry tickets ... wrong, they are not entry tickets, it's NDP INVITES!! .. haha.. Grandstand seats you know, not bad right?
Found some stick-on logos in the goodie bag, and mr clumsy libing had to try 3 times before he can successfully get a print on his cheek.I decided not to post photos of the parade and the performance itself because i dun have a tele lens and many of the shots were blur, i think all of you out there would have watched the live telecast, if not it will be repeated next week i guess. So here's a collarge of libing, jiehong and siying... when you are there at the parade, you really feel proud to be a singaporean, when the national anthem plays, you feels like singly it loudly, and i only have this feeling when i'm at NDP. For those who have not been to an NDP, try to go next year, it really feels good..

My frist attempt at taking fireworks, i think i got more smoke than the fireworks itself, really very difficult, and i didn't even bring a tripod, will be going to watch the fireworks at esplanade on friday, hopefully will have better results.
